HOW TO ACQUIRE AND PROCESS METABOLITE DIFFUSION DATA
The course on Diffusion-Weighted MRS (DW-MRS) is designed to provide a conceptual and practical foundation on DW-MRS acquisition and processing strategies. Attendees will learn how to design and perform an optimal DW-MRS experiment based on specific fundamental or clinical questions. The two-day course will rely on interactive tutorials using the MATLAB programming environment. MATLAB codes will be provided to the participants. At the end of the course attendees will know how to acquire robust DW-MRS dataset on clinical and preclinical systems at different magnetic field strengths, how to pre-process these data and how to extract basic properties of metabolite diffusion. Attendees will also understand the role and the potential of DW-MRS in research and clinical practice and how this method complements more established methods such as diffusion MRI.
