Fluorine MRI Symposium 2017

October 16, 2017, Berlin/DE

Dear colleagues and friends,

19F MRI is an emerging technique with a growing number of applications in biomedical research. It requires a highly interdisciplinary collaboration of experts in MRI hardware, physics, (bio)chemistry, nanotechnology, experimental and clinical medicine. Preliminary clinical application has been reached, but many challenges remain.
After the successful 19F workshop in 2011 in Cologne and the 19F symposium in Nijmegen in 2012, it is a great pleasure to announce the next 19F symposium on "Red Hot MRI“ at the Charité in Berlin on 16 October 2017!
This year, we have two keynote speakers, who do not need any further introduction: Profs. Jolanda de Vries and Ulrich Floegel. There will also be room for abstract presentations and posters, as well as plenty of networking.
The symposium has been endorsed by the ESMI and the ESMRMB.
Please also let us know if you would like to contribute as a reviewer, session moderator or in another capacity for this event.

Share your research and ideas, get some tips from the experts and start new collaborations in an informal atmosphere!

June 2018

40th Post Graduate Course & 54th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Radiology (ESPR)
June 18 - 22, 2018, Berlin/DE

ESPR2018

Dear Paediatric Radiologists,
Dear friends of European Paediatric Radiology

For the first time the European Society for Paediatric Radiology congress will be held in Berlin, this however, should not be the only reason for attending the ESPR congress in 2018.
On 18–19 June, we scheduled the two-day 43rd postgraduate course, which is directed at both – radiologists coming to the end of their specialist training as well as, young paediatric radiologists at the beginning of the professional career. Typical paediatric diseases and specialised imaging diagnostics in the childhood will be presented.

The ensuing, three-day 54th ESPR congress, 20–22 June, will offer, in addition to the scientific focus, a good mix of keynote lectures, interactive sessions and state-of-the-art lectures. This guarantees an interesting composition of special knowledge and repetition at a very high level. Smaller special focus sessions complement the conference and will also offer for specialised experts new aspects to their daily work.

Aside from the meetings, we will provide a platform that encourages networking and the development of professional cooperation. The Hilton congress hotel is located right in the heart of Berlin, directly at the most beautiful square in the city – one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. The venue also offers unbeatable accommodation conditions for this location, which should be used to get to know the prospering, lively Berlin from its most beautiful side right in downtown.

Have a try of Berlin’s cultural side and join the networking programme with a further highlight: We would like to discover together the shimmering, glittering Berlin of the 1920’s: instead of the traditional gala dinner, we invite you to party in the spirit of the "Roaring Twenties".

Please come and join us in Berlin for the ESPR 2018! We are looking forward to welcoming you!
Kind regards,

Prof. Dr. Franz Wolfgang Hirsch
Congress chair of ESPR 2018 and the organising committee
